Lovin my Boys....

So the other day I am the store with my 3 crazy boys and we are walking down the isles and I see this lady (i just glance over to my right as I am walking) and she is looking all bent out of shape because she is trying to lift a big ole' bag of dog food into her cart. Well I just keep walking along and I am on the next isle and I turn around and I am looking for Simote (my 9 year old) and I cant find him so I turn around huffin and puffin and go back to the other isle... I see my son just getting finished putting this "big ole bag" of dog food in the cart for this lady. She doesn't see me and neither does he and I hear her tell him, "wow, what a sweet little man you are, you just made my day, your momma sure raised you right" and he says "ya, shes a good mom" So she says thanks to him again... Meanwhile I am turned around crying my eyes out and in shock because my son is sooo perfect... How the hell do I just walk right past some lady struggling and my son runs right over to help her? I am crying as I right this becausemy son teaches me so much. All 3 of my sons. My twins bring me such joy its out of control. God obviously knew exactly what he was doing the day he gave me each of my boys.... I am so blessed and I want my sons to know how much mommy loves you....

So life is going along....

Nothing too exciting going on in our little family... Mote started flag football today!! He was so excited he jumped out of bed this morning! He got all ready and he sure did walk tall from the house to the car! He is such a stud... I love him so much...

The twins are little fish! We camped this whole weekend and there was a swimming pool there. They were seriously having so much fun! They had little floatys on their arms so they could go clear into the deep. My mom played with them in the pool for hours at a time... And Aunty Doweri (valeri) was here for a visit so they were even more happy....

I have just been workin and bein mommy... Cannot ever get on top of my laundry Mountain but I do try! I have been slacking a bit on spin but I have been going!! And I love it so much! Its just hard to get up so early in the morning (whatever right?!) I am finding myself right now... Damn I am almost 30 years old I hope I find myself soon! I am going to Vegas next week so I am really, really excited about that! I need to get the heck out of dodge.... I will post pics soon I promise... have tons to post and will be taking tons in Vegas... because what happens in Vegas comes home on my camera!!!!

28. Preserving a newspaper clipping - large bottle of Club Soda and cup of Milk Of Magnesia , soak for 20 min. And let dry,will last for many years!
29. A Slinky will hold toast and CD's!
30. To keep goggles and glasses from fogging, coat with Colgate Toothpaste

31. Wine stains, pour on the Morton Salt and watch it absorb into the salt.
32. To remove wax - Take a paper towel and iron it over the wax stain, it will absorb into the towel.
33. Remove labels off glassware etc. Rub with Peanut Butter!
34.. Baked on food - fill container with water, get a Bounce paper softener and the static from the Bounce towel will cause the baked on food to adhere to it. Soak overnight. Also; you can use 2 Efferdent Tablets , soak overnight!
35. Crayon on the wall - Colgate Toothpaste and brush it!

36... Dirty grout - Listerine
37. Stains on clothes - Colgate Toothpaste
38. Grass stains - Karo Syrup
39. Grease Stains - Coca Cola , it will also remove grease stains from the driveway overnight. We know it will take corrosion from car batteries!
40. Fleas in your carpet? 20 Mule Team Borax- sprinkle and let stand for 24 hours.. Maybe this will work if you get them back again.



41. To keep FRESH FLOWERS longer Add a little Clorox , or 2 Bayer Aspirin , or just use 7-Up instead of water.
42. When you go to buy bread in the grocery store, have you ever wondered which is the freshest, so you 'squeeze' for freshness or softness? Did you know that bread is delivered fresh to the stores five days a week? Monday, Tuesday,Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Each day has a different color twist tie.
They are:
Monday = Blue
Tuesday = Green
Thursday = Red
Friday = White
Saturday = Yellow.
So if today was Thursday, you would want a Red twist tie; not white which is Fridays (almost a week old)! The colors go alphabetically by color Blue- Green - Red - White - Yellow, Monday through Saturday. Very easy to remember. I thought this was interesting. I looked in the grocery store and the bread wrappers DO have different twist ties, and even the ones with the plastic clips have different colors. You learn something new everyday! Enjoy fresh bread when you buy bread with the right color on the day you are shopping.

My Date with Kenny.... what a sweetie...

So Emily was my real date (and her sister) and we had a blast... My first Kenny concert so it was a real treat! Thanks to Ems hook ups we got great seats! We did have to leave early so I didnt get to see the Encore but that makes next years concert a MUST right!?

Im back on SPINNING!!! I fell of the bike for a bit but I picked myself back up and I am on it like blue bonnet... (literally, that seat is right up your crack- thank goodness for the 3rd position (standing)) I will post pictures of my spin class... its the most amazing rush I have ever felt with working out...

The boys and I hang out and its fun....

So the boys and I went up to Sandy this past weekend to see what we could stir up. We went to this big sale (waste of time) that was at the expo center and then we went to The Mayan which is a mexican restraunt that is like a real life jungle with trees and water and best of all cliff divers. The boys loved it, and I sure didnt mind it (the cliff divers were male and in like tarzan leaves....hmmm) Anyhow I didnt mind it because they acrobatic ism ness was amazing. yah....

SO...ya its always good time with the boys....

I am in utter disbelief right now! Yes, I do believe my eyes, those are real life cucumber stems or plants or bushes or whatever, I dont know what they are called, all I know is that they were not there a week ago!! I am so proud of my boys, little stinkin farmer joes! (Literally for Simote, his dads name is joe) Anyhow, I will let you all taste our produce when they are grown, Simote says he is going to have a big sale so please watch for a date on that! ;)

Professional Gardeners Indeed

So... I decided that the boys and I will be growing a garden this year. I need them to be little farmers and grow their own produce. Ha ha, But for reals Im not kidding so stop the chuckles... So we went out to Walmart and got ourselves a mini little green house. (Its so cute!) Any how we did as the directions said and we sowed the seeds that we purchased. We started with tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and some flowers for these huge pots I have. My boys are absolute gardening boys and I cannot wait until the first one sprouts (it will right?) and they can be so proud of themselves.

Hey I guess I will have to learn how to make like salsa and other things... OH pickles! My brother didnt know until like 2 weeks ago that pickles were crinkly, old, cucumbers!! Hilarious! Everyone in my family was laughing at us and our little green house but hey when we have produce growing out the ying yang we will see whos laughing wont we!!!

Sunny St. George....

So the boys and I went down to St. George with the family this weekend. It was sunny and pretty warm...it was so nice! NO snow in site! We left Sat morning with Uncle D and I made it there in 2 hours and forty five minutes. It was amazingly quick. The boys had a rugby tournament on Sat (which they won) so we went to that. I got to spend a tiny bit of time with one of my bestest friends in the world and Aunty to my boys Shawna. Her any my nephew Mav have a friend that plays on the team that we played. So we were happy to see them. The rest of the trip was laid back, I of course went to my ultimate favorite TJ Maxx, love, love,love that store! I found some really cute things.... We stayed with Jilly and Steve in their room and we had IN n Out burger, apparently everybody loves that place, the freakin line was down around the corner and back. I mean come on, its just a burger...it was ok I guess... I love St George, I want to go again here pretty quick so that I can do some more shopping. Plus my baby brother goes to school there so seeing him is always good too... Now I guess I should start preparing for the work week...boys school clothes etc... Oh geez Mote and Tua are boxing I better for referee!

So... today he tells me I dont need a husband cause I have him. He is DAMN RIGHT!

Always wanting what you dont have....

I love my heritage, my culture, being half white and half Tongan. Or as I like to say, half idaho spud, half polynesian pineapple. Its nice to have a year around tan, nice to have the islander style in my life. The only thing I have ever thought, wow I wish that was a little less poly, is when I get done blow drying my hair and it looks like Diana Ross just entered the room. Infact it never fails, I walk out of the bathroom and scare my boys with it!!! So if anything I would rather not have the Poly hair.
So thank goodness some brilliant person (no idea who) invented this straightener that gets down to business. I love it! It straightens my hair like nobodys business. I like my hair curly to but not Diana Rossish curly... So if you know anybody that needs a bad azz straightener, maybe you like to play Diana Ross to your children too, but come on. I am selling them, just click on the pic!

Simote is and always has been my little rock....

Anyone that knows this boy loves him. He just gets you in your heart and you cant help but fall in love! He is my little man, the best big brother and has always been my little soilder. He also promises to buy me a ranch once he is in the NFL so I am happy about that too....
